Short-Term Group Volunteer Projects
Great River Faith in Action regularly works with youth, congregational and college groups, as well as corporate volunteers, to serve the needs of seniors and to provide meaningful service projects. Here are some of the ways your group can help.
Snow Angels: Nov-March
Groups work together to clean up seniors' driveways after large snowstorms.
Rake the Town: Oct & Nov
Groups can clean up the fall leaves at seniors homes in a combined effort.
Home Repairs: All year-around
Groups do minor repairs at seniors homes such as change batteries for smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, replace lightbulbs, install grab-bars, build wheelchair ramps, and more.
